dreams: montages

a montage is a sequences of pictures that have the following the main features…

1: the most significant aspect of montages is that the dreamer is aware she/he is in awake-time

2: the theme of the scenes are usually the same

3: to date they have only been as an observer

4: they usually have a high vividness rating (3.3 and higher)

5: the duration of any one scene is usually less than two seconds

6: they do not usually contain motion

7: montages that do contain motion are named motion-montages

8: black and white montages… today (10052019) is the first black and white montage

montages can be controlled by the person in that the images can be of the persons own making

motion-montages can be replayed and “freeze-framed” which enables a person to take in the detail

montages are categorised first, by the number of images they contain…

a mini-montage: five or fewer images

a montage: five to ten images

a mega-montage: ten to fifty images

a maxi-montage: fifty to one hundred images

a maxi-plus montage: one hundred to five hundred images

more than five hundred images: montage-minded
